Miriam Arvinger
Miriam Arvinger is a mom, teacher and mentor who has been working with girls and young women since the age of 18, when she decided to become a mentor for Big Brother, Big Sister. Since then, she has spent the last 30+ years sharing her gift of transforming lives with youth of all ages.  

One of her superpowers is connecting with youth and motivating them so that common goals can be achieved through coaching and mentorship. She has mentored hundreds of girls and young women through a variety of programs and organizations, such as the Boys and Girls Clubs and Unidos. She is passionate about helping young girls and women develop self-awareness, self-love and healthy self-esteem so they can confidently cope with life’s challenges.  

Currently, she serves as the Executive Director of Support Black Colleges Cares, a nonprofit that brings education and awareness to the HBCU community through mentorship, innovation, scholarships and service.
